Perched at a height of 5300 feet, Shri Mata Vaishnog Devi is located in a hill cave Trikuta Mountain in Jammu & Kashmir. The base camp for Shri Vaishno Devi Temple is Katra which stands at a distance 410 km from Chandigarh. Katra is the place from where the pilgrims begin their religious journey. Day 01 : Jammu Katra:
After arrival at Chandigarh, we will start our journey to Katra, check in hotel, overnight stay at Katra.

Second day of the tour is booked for an early morning after which you will start the 14-km trek to the holy shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi, where the Goddess resides in three forms of Shakti. After refresh-up in the hotel, you will get dropped at Banganga. This is the starting point of your 14 kms trek up to the holy cave of Mata Vaishno Devi. Popular belief holds that anybody who walks the Himalayan trail to her abode to ask for a boon rarely goes back disappointed. There are many who journey here year after year to pay obeisance regardless of their faith or belief, creed or class, caste or religion, for Mata Vaishno Devi transcends all such barriers. By late evening, you will return to Katra. Overnight stay at hotel.

In the morning shall depart for Chandigarh Railway station/Airport to catch the train for the onwards journey to way back to home.
