Chandigarh Dalhousie Package

Dalhousie, is a quite town, with a sense of enchantment. This hill station spreads over five low-level hills at the western edge of the Dhauladhar range, just east of the Ravi River. The picturesque town is interspersed with the colonial-era buildings, low roofed stalls and hotels. The pine-covered slopes around it are intersected with paths and treks, which are ideal for short undemanding walks.

The gateway to the Chamba Valley, this colonial town was established in 1854 by the British governor-general Lord Dalhousie. Covering an area of 14 sq.-km and surrounded by alpine vegetation, Dalhausie has charming architecture and panoramic views of both plains and the whitecapped views of the mountainous ranges.

First Day : Chandigarh :
After arrival at Chandigarh, meet our representative. It is famous & beautiful capital of Punjab and Haryana(Union Territory). Here Rock Garden & Rose Garden are the famous tourist spot. Check in at the hotel. Evening is free for rest and night stay at hotel.

Second Day : Chandigarh to Dharamshala:

In the morning, We will depart from Chandigarh to Dharamshala. After Dharamshala visit the local sightseeing. And take the rest in hotel.

Third Day : Dharamshala (Local sightseeing):

In the monnning, we will go for the local sightseeing of Mcleodganj. Here is the temple of Dalai Lama. Mcleodganj is a start with the small Tibetan handicrafts and artifacts bazaar, which is filled with variety. Take the rest in the luxuries and night stay in hotel.

Fourth Day : Dharamshala ( Half Day Rest):

There are large idols of Buddha and the charming church of St. John in the wilderness. This place was the final resting place of Lord Elgin, a British Viceroy of India during the 19th century. Ancient temples like Chamunda, Jwalamukhi, Brijeshwari lie on the plains below Dharamshala.Take the half day rest in the leisure & enjoy and night stay in hotel.

Fifth Day : Dharamshala To Dalhousie:

Depart from Dharamshala To Dalhousie by road (100 km/2 hrs). Visit ancient temples like Jwalamukhi, Brijeshwari and Chamunda.

Sixth Day : Dalhousie (Local Sightseeing) :

In the morning we will visit Local Sightseeing. It has tremendous forests trails overlooking vistas of wooded hills, waterfalls. Khajihar (Switzerland Of India) , Chamba. The spectacular snow-covered Dhal dhar mountains are also visible form this enchanting town.

Seventh Day : Dalhousie to Chandigarh :

In the morning check out the hotel and depart to Chandigarh
