AmarNath Yatra Package

The pilgrimage destination of AmarNath shrine is located inside a cave in the Himalayas. The mythological and historical importance of this sacred place according to mythology is the fact that Lord Shiva recounted the secret of creation and immortality to the Goddess Parvati in this cave. This secret is of immortality is known as the amar katha and according to legend Lord Shiva made sure that no living being was around when he narrated this story to the Goddess Parvati.

According to common legend a shepherd called Buta Malik first discovered this holy cave at AmarNath and ever since, this cave became an important center of pilgrimage for the Hindus.

AmarNath cave is situated at an altitude of 3,888 m about 141 km from Srinagar, the capital of Jammu and Kashmir and reached through Pahalgam town. The shrine forms an important part of Hinduism, and is considered to be one of the holiest shrines in Hinduism. The cave is surrounded by snowy mountains. The cave itself is covered with snow most time of the year except for a short period of time in summer when it is open for pilgrims. An annual pilgrimage is made to the AmarNath cave by lakhs of Hindu devotees on challenging mountainous terrain to see an ice stalgmite formed inside the cave.

Registration for AmarNath Yatra

For performing AmarNath Yatra, one is required to get AmarNath Yatra Registration first. The registration is done by J & K Govt., Jammu and Kashmir bank, and many other banks, Tourist Offices, located at Delhi, Mumbai, Calcutta, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Banglore, Jammu and Srinagar
The filled in form should be sent to the registration office nearest to you , along with two passport size photographs duly affixed at the indicated places, a self addressed pre stamped envelope (for speed post) and a medical fitness certificate from an MBBS doctor. Each yatri has to submit a seperate application for registration. Every yatri will be issued a registration-cum-identity slip by the registration authority. Yatris are advised to carry this identity slip during the Amarnath Yatra period to ensure a smooth passage.

Day 01 - Day 02: Chandigarh to Pahalgam:
After arrival at Chandigarh, we will start our journey to Pahalgam.

• After confirmation of booking the mobile number of the driver/owner of the agency will be passed to you.
